A Double Roller Crusher (2DG Series) is a specialized fine and medium crushing equipment that utilizes two counter-rotating steel rollers as its core working components. By applying high squeezing, shearing, and grinding forces as raw materials pass through the adjustable gap between the rollers, it efficiently reduces materials into specified, uniform particle sizes.
2. How does Double Roller Crusher work?
Raw materials (feed size ≤25 mm to ≤40 mm) are fed evenly into the top crushing chamber. Driven by powerful electric motors (11 kW to 75 kW), the two heavy-duty rollers rotate toward each other at controlled speeds.
As material drops into the gap between the rollers, immense pressure and friction crush the particles. The discharge clearance between the rollers can be precisely calibrated to produce final product sizes ranging from 1–8 mm up to 3–40 mm, delivering continuous hourly throughputs from 5 t/h up to 80 t/h.
