1. Product Introduction

A Hot Blast Stove is a high-efficiency heat exchange device that converts fuel combustion energy into high-temperature hot air. It serves as the "heart" of various industrial drying systems, providing the necessary thermal energy for consistent operation.

  • Fuel Types: Highly adaptable to multiple energy sources, including coal, oil, natural gas, biomass, and electricity.

  • Heat Exchange Modes:

    • Direct-Fired: The combustion flue gas mixes directly with the heated air. It offers rapid heating and is ideal for industries with standard air purity requirements.

    • Indirect-Fired: Combustion flue gas and clean air exchange heat through a high-performance heat exchanger wall. It provides 100% clean, dust-free hot air, making it perfect for food, pharmaceutical, and specialized chemical industries.

  • Applications: Grain drying, construction material dehydration, livestock heating, chemical product processing, and metal heat treatment.


2. Performance Features

Our hot blast stoves are engineered for maximum energy recovery and operational precision:

  • High Thermal Efficiency: Utilizing multi-pass designs and waste heat recovery technology, thermal efficiency typically reaches 75% – 90%.

  • Controllable Temperature: Capable of delivering hot air from ambient temperatures to over 1000°C. Advanced control systems maintain temperature fluctuations within a very narrow margin.

  • Superior Air Purity: Indirect models provide sulfur-free and dust-free hot air, effectively preventing secondary contamination of the dried materials.

  • Rapid Startup: Unlike traditional steam boilers, hot blast stoves require no preheating of long pipelines. They heat up quickly and are ready for immediate use.

  • Safety & Durability: The combustion chamber liner is made of high-temperature resistant stainless steel or premium refractories (refractory bricks/castables), ensuring excellent oxidation resistance and an extended service life.


3. Working Principle

The core logic of a Hot Blast Stove is "Energy Conversion and Heat Transfer."

Core Operational Stages:

  1. Combustion Process: Fuel is ignited by a high-performance burner in the combustion chamber (furnace). Chemical energy is converted into thermal energy, generating high-temperature flue gas.

  2. Heat Exchange (Indirect Type Example):

    • Flue Gas Side: High-temperature gas passes through the heat exchanger’s internal tubes or plates, transferring heat to the walls before being exhausted.

    • Air Side: Cold air is forced into the other side of the heat exchanger by a powerful blower. As it flows across the heated surfaces, it absorbs the thermal energy and rises in temperature rapidly.

  3. Delivery & Circulation: The heated clean air is delivered via insulated ducts to the downstream equipment (e.g., rotary dryers or industrial ovens).

  4. Automated Feedback: Precision sensors at the outlet provide real-time data to the control system. By automatically adjusting the fuel supply or blower frequency, the system ensures a constant, stable output temperature.
